Sprigster Drinks, a non-alcoholic beverage brand born from the lush gardens of Pythouse Kitchen Garden, approached Papaya Studio to create a new digital home that would expand its reach and expand upon its brand identity. With the goal of encouraging sales, brand partnerships, and repeat customers, Sprigster Drinks sought a website that reflected its values of sustainability and artisanal craftsmanship in the new and competitive alc-free market.

Our Approach:
Phase 1: Discovery & Strategy
During the discovery phase, we worked closely with the Sprigster team to understand their long-term goals, including improving discoverability, user experience, and the alignment between Sprigs.co and Sprigster Drinks.
In this stage, we conducted:
- Keyword research and competitor analysis to develop an SEO strategy that would drive organic traffic.
- Website traffic review and investigation to understand how the current website was performing.
Phase 2: Design & Development
Our team focused on creating a seamless user experience. Key features included:
- Conversion-focused product pages designed to showcase the unique characteristics of each drink, with detailed information on ingredients, taste profiles, and sustainable sourcing.
- Optimised performance with compressed images, reducing the homepage load time from 31 seconds to under 1.7 seconds.
- Brand-aligned design updates, improving the visual relationship between Sprigs.co and Sprigster Drinks to foster greater brand cohesion.
We created design visuals based on the proposed structure and tested them with the Sprigster team. After refining the design, the new site was developed on Shopify using the brand’s existing theme, ensuring that the site was scalable and easy to manage.
Phase 3: Marketing & Launch
Post-launch, the focus was on marketing through Google Ads and Meta Ads, with specific campaigns targeting high-traffic, high-intent keywords like “non-alcoholic aperitif” and “sparkling non-alcoholic drinks.” This ensured that Sprigster Drinks saw immediate visibility improvements.
The Results
Within the 3 months following launch, the new Sprigster Drinks website saw dramatic growth:
- 66% increase in gross sales vs previous period
- 211% increase in sessions, from 3,239 in the previous year to 10,058.
- 448% increase in products added to cart, from 60 to 329.
- 321% increase in sessions converted, from 43 to 181.
- Conversion rate improvement of 36%, rising from 1.33% to 1.80%.
- 323% increase in page views, reaching 20,557.
